“When we connect interiors to fashion, we show that we are current, we engage the excitement of the now.” – Barclay Butera

CHD Interiors attends the International High Point Furniture Market twice a year to stay current on the leading edge of design. Each visit, CHD gains inspiration for both current and future interior design jobs. Our visit to market is similar to a fashion show; several vendors are creating their own lines, but it’s then up to us to have the freedom to mix them all together to create an eclectic mix of styles. Also during this buying trip, CHD purchases several unique selections to be sold at both retail locations.

Most furniture trends arise from the previous fashion runway shows. This spring, blue is still the constant neutral, and the mixing of blues is very rampant. Tribal patterns are displayed on textiles and rugs to enhance the Bohemian vibes.

Are deep blues and bohemian prints too much of a statement for your style? Remedy a monotone home with a whisper of this year’s color of the year – blush. Not just a staple in your cosmetic bag, blush is an understated way to add a new neutral to your pallet! Blend pillows and throws into your bedroom or living room, or anchor your dining room table with a plush area rug.

Give these whimsical colors a rustic-chic touch by adding another trend to your home – raw accessories. The harmony of fresh floral or nautical hues, and raw, natural tones will truly bring any room together. Think agate bookends, a weathered wood coffee table, or a set of antlers – the possibilities are endless! Accessories are the easiest way to go from drab to dreamy without too much cost or commitment. Come in and peruse our beautiful showroom. We have something for everyone!
