It’s antiquing time. We are getting back on the road again to scour England for a new collection of European country antiques.
We have noticed a new interest in country antiques. While painted English, French & Italian pieces are still the most desired looks for our lowcountry interiors, various wood tone antiques are being used more & more. As we are moving to more color in our design projects, antiques are continuing to show up in designs of all styles from contemporary to traditional.
As usual, we have a large shopping list of particular pieces clients want for their homes. We have been asked this time to source some newel posts for a client’s home and some large storage pieces for a client’s hallway. We are also searching for a great French dining table for a client in downtown Charleston.
