CHD is ecstatic when we can turn a client’s vision into reality. We were recently brought on for a project in historic downtown Charleston, South of Broad on Queen Street. The client completely gutted and renovated this home converting it into a duplex. The owners tapped CHD for our custom design consultation and construction to create a more open floor plan for the older space, which they refer to as their “Charleston Crash Pad.” Our team gave the space a whimsical and advanced look by knocking out walls in the living room to open the space and raising the ceilings to show off authentic wood beams. The appliances in the kitchen were rearranged for better functionality.
