This client had two areas of their home that had been overlooked and needed rescuing. The dining room was essentially an unused open playroom for their children, and they wanted to reclaim the space to be used as it was intended. They had a vision of making a sophisticated dining area with an eclectic mix of furniture.
While a traditional sideboard or buffet would overwhelm the room’s dimensions, we wanted the focal point that a similar piece could provide. A long but narrow curved console with an iron base and marble top were chosen as the anchor. Large abstract art breaks up the dark wallpaper, and we added ambient lighting to achieve the chic modern look the client desired.

Upstairs, the CHD design team transformed a bland space into the ultimate TV room for the client’s kids and guests to enjoy. Their main request was to make the room durable. Our team added all leather upholstery for wipe-ability and a 100% washable rug, and we left the cocktail table free of accessories to reduce clutter.
